Community-Acquired Pneumonia

Dosage for Adult: 500 mg orally in tablet form/intravenous once daily for 7-14 days.

750 mg orally in tablet form/intravenously (IV) once daily for 5 days.

Skin Structure Infections

Uncomplicated Skin Infection: 500 mg oral tablet /intravenously (IV) once daily for 7-10 days.

Complicated skin Infection: 750 mg orally/intravenously (IV) once daily for 7-14 days.

Chronic Prostate Infection

500mg orally tablet/IV daily for 28 days.

Urinary Tract Infection

250 mg oral tablet/intravenously (IV) once daily for 10 days.

750 mg oral tablet/intravenously once daily for 5 days.

Plague

In Adult 500 mg orally/intravenously (IV) once daily for 10-14 days.

In Children 6 months 8 mg/kg orally/intravenously (IV) every 12 hours for 10-14 days.

Side Effects of Levofloxacin

Nausea, Diahrrea, headache, etc, are the common side effects of taking Levofloxacin. If you are having the worst of these symptoms then you should consult the physician.
